On January 31, 2015 the Dr. Carlos Lopez Somolinos Foundation celebrated its annual activity to benefit the educational scholarship fund, commemorating its 5th Anniversary. The activity entitled «Let’s Dance at the French Riviera» was a great success thanks to the sponsors and the attendance of all friends and collaborators. The event counted with the participation of Mr. Otilio Warrington («Bizcocho») as master of ceremonies and the coordination of the activity was in charge by Mrs. Maritza Rosado. We would like to highlight the magnificent setting and decoration of the theme by Alex Pagán & Co. and Max Lighting in the lighting of the hall. In addition, we are grateful for the excellent service offered by the Ponce Fair Complex.

Former scholarship recipient, Miss Keyla Diaz Santos took the floor to give us an unforgettable speech, narrating her experience as a scholarship recipient and making it clear that what we possess does not define us, but what we are and what we want to achieve.

The guests had the opportunity to transport their imagination to a night of glamour on the French Riviera. Everyone enjoyed the music of DJ Ivan Robles, the band SP2 as well as the French melodies played by the young Carlos Javier Laboy, Jennifer Rivera and Jose Gabriel Quiñonez of the group Estampas. The Foundation expresses its deep gratitude for all the support of its sponsors who in this fifth year continue to be present and make possible the celebration of this event… When human beings unite great miracles happen!
